How did you celebrate Heath’s birthday?
We had friends and family over for a backyard burger bash to celebrate Heath's birthday. The party was "our little bun is turning one" burger/grilling themed with ketchup and mustard balloons!
What is your favorite part of this age?
It's fun to watch him learn new things like how to walk and be so proud of himself.
What are Heath’s current interests or favorite things?
His favorite food is watermelon, and he loves going on walks!
How would you describe his personality?
Silly, Talkative, Busy.
What makes him laugh the hardest?
Splashing in the bath or pool.
What is a habit or quirk that you never want to forget?
He loves to use a carry-on suitcase as a walker, and it always looks like he's trying to leave on a vacation.
What has parenthood taught you?
Your baby is constantly changing and learning. There are hard and long days in the first year but very quickly you'll want time to slow down so enjoy it!
What is some of your best parenting advice?
If your baby is upset, try taking them outside or for a walk or give them a bath! It can help reset their mood!
