Meet Heart-To-Heart Babies Eleanor & John
by Magnetic Me Apr 13 2026
Meet Eleanor and John, two special babies we’ve met through our Heart to Heart program, where we donate magnetic PJs to pediatric ICUs around the country.
In response to their stories, we’ve donated a year’s supply of magnetic PJs to Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, supporting families when they need it most.

Meet Eleanor And Her Mom, Hayley
Eleanor was born severely growth restricted at 27 weeks at Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. She entered the NICU, where she stayed for months with chronic lung disease. Due to infection control policies, she could only wear clothes that were donated, but the only baby clothing the hospital had were made with thick fabrics, buttons, and zippers. The way the wires were threaded through the clothing made it difficult for Eleanor’s mom, Hayley, to change Eleanor’s diaper without help.
Eleanor was transferred to Luries Children’s in Chicago, and had a tracheostomy which will allow her to go home as her lungs continue to grow. Moved by Eleanor’s story, we donated magnetic PJs to Edward Hospital to bring a little more comfort and ease to families in the NICU.

Meet John, and His Mom, Lauren
We first met John and learned his story in June, 2025. After an unexpected heart diagnosis at 20 weeks, he entered the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for care. Through every procedure and stay, dressing her son quickly and gently became one less thing to worry about. "Magnetic Me is the best—it’s all I dressed him in and sent to CHOP," Lauren shared.
Now 18 months, John was recently diagnosed with SJIA, a rare inflammatory disease. He is being treated with medication at home and is doing well. Lauren says “He loves books and trucks. As soon as you read the first line of a book his face lights up. He also has been doing so well with his walking and getting more balanced everyday!”
We’re honored to play a small part in stories like John’s, and through our Heart to Heart program, we’ve donated magnetic PJs to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
