The Layers You Need For Chilly Fall Temperatures

The Layers You Need For Chilly Fall Temperatures

Dressing your little one for dropping temps is a bit like a puzzle. Too few layers and they’re shivering, too many and they’re overheating (and if the layers are too thick, then they can’t even move their arms).

We’re breaking down how to comfortably dress them for the cold, with cozy fabrics to mix, match, and layer for every fall forecast. And with quick magnetic closures, bundling them up has never been easier.

In the 60s

For Baby: For fall’s crisp, early days, start with an organic cotton bodysuit, a soft and gentle first layer on baby’s delicate skin. Add stretchy pull-on pants, socks or booties, and top off with a fuzzy sherpa jacket, featuring magnetic closures that fasten in a flash.

For Toddlers & Kids: From mornings at the farm to afternoons on the playground, a waffle-knit set keeps them cozy while they explore. Layer on a soft sherpa jacket with easy magnetic closures, which they’ll love to put on, all by themselves.

In the 50s

For Baby: An organic cotton bodysuit and pull-on pants are breathable first layers, but as it gets cooler, bundle them up in a plush minky pram. Magnetic closures make it easy to get them dressed and changed, and the ultra-soft minky fleece keeps them warm on outdoor adventures.

For Toddlers & Kids: As it gets chillier, keep the waffle-knit set in their recess rotation, but add on a pullover hoodie in fuzzy sherpa fleece. Lined in organic cotton, it’s a hoodie made even better for colder weather, with a magnetic placket so it goes on easily over the head.

In the 40s

For Baby: Keep them toasty as winter weather rolls in. Go for a long-sleeve base layer, like an organic cotton footie, and then put on a wind-resistant puffer pram, lined in sherpa and polar fleece. Magnetic closures make it easy to get baby in and out for changes, and fold-over cuffs keep little hands and feet extra warm.

For Toddlers & Kids: Their waffle-knit set segues into the next season with the help of a warm, playful puffer. With fun pockets and prints, ultra-cozy fabrics, and easy magnetic closures they can do themselves, they’ll actually be excited to put on their coat.
