Magnetic Me Donates 100% of Profits from Seeds of Inspiration Footie to The Children’s Heart Foundation
Partnering with Heather Nichols to honor her son Adler, the special-edition print calls attention to congenital heart defects during American Heart Month.
After over a year in the making, the start of an incredible friendship, and the kickstart of a yearlong giving program, it's finally here…
We are proud to introduce the Seeds of Inspiration Footie for The Children's Heart Foundation.
The special-edition print honors all the heart babies who show acts of bravery and strength every day, and specifically pays tribute to Heather Nichols' son Adler. After many visits and prolonged stays in the pediatric & neonatal cardiac ICU at Helen Devos Children's Hospital, Adler passed away at 11 months old from Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs).
The names on each seed packet featured in the print—kindness, bravery, strength, love, empathy, hope & peace—are a source of inspiration for families dealing with a heart-related challenge. Each footie comes with a packet of wildflower seeds for you to grow at home.
Newborns often require critical care and close monitoring while in the CICU, as they're hooked up to many wires and need to be monitored, examined, and changed often. Fit for preemies & up, our hospital-approved pajamas provide easy access for medical teams & parents, thanks to the swift magnetic closures that make changing and dressing so easy.
100% of profits from Seeds of Inspiration will be donated to The Children’s Heart Foundation to fund research for Congenital Heart Defects.

How It All Started: March 2021
In 2021, Heather Nichols' son Adler passed away at 11 months from Congenital Heart Defects.
During their many prolonged hospital stays, Magnetic Me pajamas allowed Heather to dress Adler easily while giving their medical team quick accessibility to Adler during the many exams throughout the day. The simple act of dressing Adler gave Heather a chance to care for her son and the ability to feel more like a mom during such a surreal time in her life.
In his honor and around Adler's first birthday, Heather contacted us about assisting her in purchasing a large quantity of footies to donate to the Pediatric Cardiac ICU at Helen Devos Children's Hospital where Adler was treated.
A Giving Program Is Born: January 2022
We were so touched by Heather's story that instead of a few footies, we gave DeVos Children's Hospital a year’s supply. From there, a yearlong giving program called Heart To Heart was born in which we donated a year's supply of pajamas to pediatric & neonatal cardiac ICUs around the country.
To date, we have donated over 3,600 pajamas to nine hospitals in eight states, including Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; Egleston Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia; NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital in New York, New York.
The Launch Of Something Special, As Told By Heather: February 2022
After Adler died, I was desperate to connect with him and keep his memory alive. The Seeds of Inspiration project has given me purpose and light when I was flooded with darkness. For me, it's more than a donation, more than an adorable outfit, this is life-giving for our family.
When Magnetic Me’s co-founder, Lauren, brought up the idea of creating a print in Adler’s memory I was shocked to say the least. Quite frankly, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support that I felt from the Magnetic Me team. After countless emails and brainstorm sessions, we are finally able to share Seeds of Inspiration with everyone during American Heart Month.
I’m thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with Magnetic Me, The Children’s Heart Foundation, and to continue to curate lasting relationships within the Heart Warrior and Bereaved Moms community. To know that Adler is a part of helping to save other heart babies' lives has us bursting with pride. This has been an incredible journey and we look forward to continuing to educate, inspire, and support.
