Spring is the perfect time to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and explore the wonders of nature. Our Earth Day Spring Scavenger Hunt is a fantastic way to engage kids in the beauty of the season while teaching them to appreciate the environment. From spotting colorful flowers to finding interesting leaves, this adventure turns a simple walk into a fun-filled discovery mission.
Create Your Own Nature Face
After your scavenger hunt, bring the fun home by transforming your found treasures into a creative Nature Face craft. Follow these simple steps:
-
Collect all of your findings. Don’t worry if you didn’t find everything on the list—just gather what you did find and organize them into groups.
-
Cut a piece of cardboard or thick paper into the shape of a face—either oval or circular.
-
Arrange your nature pieces to form eyes, a nose, a mouth, and even hair. Once you’re happy with your design, glue each piece onto the face shape.
-
Show off your masterpiece. Take a picture and share your creation to celebrate Earth Day.
