When we started our Heart to Heart giving program in 2022, we decided to make the first donation in our hometown of New York City. After a full year of donating pajamas to Neonatal and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Units nationwide, we rounded out the program and our year of giving where it all started…back in the Big Apple.

On December 14th, members of our team took a trip to NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Children's Hospital where we donated over 450 outfits in person (trekking five large boxes uptown is no easy feat!).

It was a touching experience connecting with the esteemed nurses and staff who work tirelessly to provide the highest quality care for preemie and newborn babies and their families. Introducing our brand and the function of our innovative magnets to these everyday heroes certainly ended the year on a meaningful note.

The day struck a chord for our Marketing Director Danielle Beale, who is a mom of two young children. She recalls, "as someone who has given birth in a hospital, what moved me the most was the level of care the nurses and staff provide to the tiniest of patients. Not just the hours they put in, but the lengths they go to design the unit to make families feel comfortable. I'm proud that Magnetic Me is now a part of that."

As if the trip to Komansky Children's Hospital wasn't meaningful enough, we received a note a few days after our visit from Director of Nursing Rae-Jean Hemway which read, "your generous donation to our teams is very much appreciated and we are thankful for all you do to make caring for this population a bit easier."

If you are a part of our community, if you shop Magnetic Me, you play a part in this—giving back where our community and partners need it. If you or someone you know has an idea for a partnership with a NICU or CICU, please email us here.
